deep in the heart of texas!

I only have thirty minutes 'til my next session, and I'm sitting here on the internet for the first time in texas(!), being completely anti-social. I'll mingle later.

So I arrived in Texas Thursday night, after having a brief encounter with my best friend (tunaaa!) during my layover in Albequrque where she was on a road trip.
A good friend of mine showed me around Fort Worth all day Friday. I saw downtown, a super wal-mart!, this life size piece of art work called the 'vortex' (which you could walk into and every noise you made would be ampliphied, it was pretty amazing), and met lots of cool Texans.

Saturday was my first day here at the Honor Academy, and let me first say that i was COMPLETELY overwhelmed. I'm now in an enviornment that I'm not used to, and I honostly considered the legitimacy of this place. But after getting over an intense state of home-sickness I realized that all was well. I'm amongst people who worship Jesus (even though it may not be the way I'm used to) and really have a heart to serve Him.

I'm going to make this blog short, cos I'm still very scarttered with my opinions and concerns, but so far soooo good!

TEXAS FACTS:
-Texas is the only state that can fly their state flag equal to or higher than the American flag without it being treason.
-Texas still has the death penalty
-Texas is the only state that still has the ability to susede from the Union
-If you own cattle on you property in Texas, you get a tax break.

fact: all art is life sized.

fact: there are no cool texans.

fact: all states still practice the death penalty, but texas is the only state to still use the electric chair (cruel and unusual punishment.) another reason texas sucks.

now that i have read them all again, your texas facts seem to lack in legitimacy. cite your source!!

also, dont get offended.

texas sucks.
