everything i once held dear, i count it all as lost.

'take up your cross daily and follow HIm'
'let the dead bury their own dead'
'sell all you have and follow Me'

these are common christian statements we choose to repeat but not meditate on.
what does this mean? what do these sayings of Christ imply?
The Lord is teaching me so much about complete abandonment and humble servanthood.
i can say that i have reached a point in my life where God could call me to the bush of Africa to never speak to my loved ones again and i would go; or He could call me to the comforts of America where i'll be surrounded by family and be making good money and i'll do it.
whatever He wants and all for His glory.

"Trust in Him at all times, O people;
pour put your hearts before Him;
God is a refuge for us."
psalm 62:8

Seeking His face with my whole heart has become a daily necessity. With things the way they are back home it is hard for me to keep my eyes on Him and strive to move forward in my own walk and ministry- because i want to go home to my family. But i am not their provider now, i'm not their comforter now, i'm their INTERCEDER now. And so i pray. I pray hard everyday and i cry out to jesus because i know that He is sovereign and that He loves them even more than i do, so i trust Him to be faithful to us- His beloveds.

PLEASE keep my family in your prayers, and my finances in your prayers, and the church in your prayers.
Jesus wants to return to a bride without spot and blemish- where are the faithful ones?

blessed are those who hunger for righteousness

There is a storm brewing in east Texas!

I'm learning alot about God's heart for missions. In the process I'm learning to worship and glorify Him with a desperate heart and a sense of urgency, because that is truly God's heart for the nations- that they would WORSHIP HIM. And so our motivation for missions should be to tell others about Jesus so that they could worship HIm as well.

"We should never be Christian humanists, taking Jesus to poor sinful people, reducing Jesus to some kind of product that will better their lot. People deserve to be damned, but Jesus, the suffering Lamb of God, deserves the reward of His suffering"
-John Dawson

God is also taking me through His refining fire. And it's HARD, but, oh, so good. And necessary.

"Restore us oh God of hosts; let Your face shine, that we may be saved! You brought a vine out of Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land."
-psalm 80:7-9

I'm also learning to pray by faith with belief.
Continue to pray for God's will to be done through this whole ministry as we attempt to get to the harvest before it dries up, lest we be ashamed. Pray that we would reach this generation before the chariots of decption do, lest God give this generation over to their wickedness.

And pray for me please :)
